PBS has developed and maintains an item bank of over 500 items targeting 25 different work attitudes/approaches that have proven to be predictive of managerial success. The most relevant scales can be selected from the item bank and managerial competency profiled in terms of strengths and developmental needs. The customized approach offers the advantages of tailored test measurement and exclusivity. The scales have been validated against a variety of different criteria including supervisory ratings of effectiveness, employee retention measures, customer loyalty indicators, and even profitability.

The test can be administered on-line, via computer (CD), or in paper-and-pencil format. Automated test score reports are also customizable, allowing for an overall recommendation or a more detailed profile of relative strengths and needs by competency/dimension. Critical responses and suggested interview questions are also available and may be included.
