PBS professionals are accomplished in using job analysis and competency modeling to:

• identify critical roles and responsibilities;
• determine the knowledges, skills, abilities, and other characteristics (KSAOs) necessary for success;
• profile jobs in terms of the characteristics that best differentiate between the employees who struggle and those who excel.
• clarify performance standards and expectations; and
• translate mission and vision statements into day-to-day activities.  

Our job descriptions clearly communicate performance expectations and standards.  They serve as an effective foundation for employee selection programs, training initiatives, and performance management systems. The result is an integrated model of effective performance that ensures the alignment of goals and strategic objectives at all levels of an organization.
