We are proud of our staff, our teamwork, and our strategic partnerships. Our full-time staff includes industrial psychologists and administrative support personnel. The current team has been in place since PBS was founded, working together and supporting each other for over 12 years. In addition, we have long-term strategic partnerships and alliances with adjunct staff, and employ part-time interns who are working on advanced degrees. For example, we have IT professionals who work in partnership with us to deliver automated tests and surveys via the PBS proprietary platform. We also have long-standing alliances with other industrial psychologists who can supplement our expertise and availability when needed. All of our staff including the adjunct members have years of experience in their respective fields and in working with each other.

Our CEO

Susan W. StangSusan W. Stang, Ph.D. specializes in employee selection, development, and retention. Susan holds a doctorate in industrial psychology from Bowling Green State University and has more than 25 years of full-time experience in the development and use of assessment tools for applicant screening, employee selection and placement, performance appraisal, performance management, diagnostic feedback, and competency development. Dr. Stang began her career with Psychological Services, Inc. (PSI), a test publisher and consulting firm, and eventually served as both Corporate Vice President and Director of Consulting. In 1999, Susan founded her own consulting firm, PBS

Susan’s expertise is perhaps best summarized as knowing how to measure and enhance job fit, whether she develops a preemployment assessment tool to screen applicants for entry-level service jobs or to coach an executive in ways to maximize effectiveness and impact. Susan is also a frequent guest speaker. Her engagements include presentations and conferences sponsored by national trade and professional associations.

Susan is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), Division 5 (Evaluation and Measurement) of APA, the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), and the Society for Human Resource Management.
